United States, TRANS-OCEANIC RECORD FLIGHT COVER, 1927 June 4, Second nonstop Atlantic crossing from USA to the European continent by the pilot Clarence D. Chamberlin accompanied by the first transatlantic passenger Charles A. Levine, the sponsor of the flight. Two weeks after Lindbergh´s flight Chamberlin on board of a Bellanca Wright "Miss Columbia" set a distance record of 6293 km in 43 hours and 49 minutes from New York to Berlin.

Envelope cancelled "HEMPSTEAD NY JUN 4 27" (as usual without stamps) carried on this First Flight to Germany where it was franked with German Reich 25 Pfg blue, cancelled "BERLIN 6.6.27" and send to Paris, France.
Very fine and extremely rare cover as most of these were not accepted by the German authorities and were destroyed, only few covers to Germany, Switzerland and France survived.
