"SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Official Stamps - Departmental Overprints
LUNATIC ASYLUM: Red ´L.A.´ on Rouletted 1d dull green, very late usage with "socked-on-the-nose" GPO cds of JU19/74. Rated RRRRR. A gem! [Remainders were used-up by the Government Printer after the general usage of Departmentals ceased in early-1874. Far superior to "Sir Humphrey´s" example - also used in 1874 - that sold for $661]"
