Dänemark - Briefmarken 1852

Denmark, 1852, Fire R.B.S. Thiele 1 st printing, reddish brown, burelage in letter-press, from plate II, fine with full to wide margins tied by mute 4-ring canceller (probably from Humlebaek) and "1" of Copenhagen to piece with very rare "MMN" in dotted frame postmark alongside. Carl Aage Moeller writes in his certificate: "The letter piece originates from Naerum, a small rural letter collecting office under Humlebaek Post Office. The "MMN" is a private mark belonging to the mail carrier Mathias Markussen Naerum, a very rare mark - only a few similar are known (usually with 3-ring numeral 166 of Humlebaek). The quality is flawless". In this combination of all three postmarks probably unique. Michel 1 IIa, AFA 1 Ia
